In their words
Six people Paddy has coached, in their own words. In the intensive, the same framework is delivered one-on-one by the team he has trained in it.
When I hit the wall and was feeling the fatigue of my first season as a starter in the big leagues, I just wanted the season to end. Paddy Steinfort worked with me almost daily, helping me get back to feeling like myself and regain my swagger. The tools he gave me not only got me through the toughest part of the season, it helped me turn things around just in time for what ended up being a historic playoff run.
Being coached by Paddy was a blessing. His approach to the mental game helped me get through some of the toughest moments, and the lessons still stick with me today. If anyone doubts the power of the mental game, they need someone like Paddy.
Paddy was able to break me out of my shell. I'm never one to really sit down and talk with someone about how I played or a bad stretch, but he's the guy where you don't have to meet in an office. It kind of got me into this Zen. He's the man.
I know first-hand from our work together that the tools which will make up this book work in the most extreme situations. Paddy has spent his career helping people conquer these moments, across a range of mission-critical environments, where the cost of failure can be catastrophic.
I had the opportunity to have Paddy Steinfort around my team at Microsoft, and even in a short amount of time he definitely had a big impact. His simple models and cool analogies helped us feel better about navigating uncertainty in any form, whether it's in our team or out in the marketplace.
The time I've spent working with Paddy Steinfort has been one of my greatest periods of growth, as both a performer and a person. Whether you're going through it as an artist or an athlete, Paddy's insights on handling pressure and the tools he shares are invaluable.

The Pressure Point Intensive
Measurably improve the way you perform under pressure in six weeks, without forced positivity, overthinking or trial and error. Here's every part of it.

Private coaching with a performance specialist trained in Paddy's method, built around the high-stakes situations that matter most to you, with accountability from one week to the next.

Before your first session, your Pressure Profile scores how you feel, focus, decide and execute, and an intake maps your history, goals and priority situations.

Your coach turns your Profile into a plan: goals across three horizons, a review of where your response holds and where it slips, and specific actions for Week 1.

Catch the Spike as it starts, steady it in under two minutes, and clear the emotional residue that builds up between big events and wears you down.

Train your attention like a skill: find the cue that matters for your next action, and get back to it faster when distractions and what-ifs pull you away.

Weigh big calls deliberately, then build your Anti-Choke Checklist: what you'll do at the decisive moment regardless of how you feel, so nerves don't get a vote.

Read the situation in front of you, test a response before you commit, and change course when a plan stops working, instead of digging in on it.

A capstone session that turns your six weeks into a personal plan for keeping and extending your progress over the following three to six months.

Yours to keep: four quick-reference cards, attention-training audio in three formats, animated explainers of the core ideas, and exercises for challenges that surface later.

Questions
It's for people who perform under pressure, lead others under it, or support someone who performs, and who have a high-stakes moment coming in the next six months. It works best if you're ready to practice between sessions, because the coaching builds on what you try in real situations. It's one-to-one, so it isn't set up for teams or groups. It also isn't therapy or a substitute for care from a qualified clinician.
Your coach is a performance specialist from Paddy's team, trained by Paddy in the Pressure Point method, so you're in good hands. Paddy isn't on the calls himself, but every session follows the framework he's spent two decades refining with MVPs, executives, surgeons and special-operations soldiers. Your coach works from your Pressure Profile and your intake interview, so the sessions are built around your own situations.
Before your first session, you complete your full Pressure Profile and an intake interview, so your coach starts with a documented picture of your priorities. Your first session turns that into a personal action plan, with goals for the next six years, six months and six weeks, and specific actions for Week 1. The sessions that follow work through the four parts of the FACE framework (Feel, Aim, Commit and Execute), each applied to your own situations. Your final session builds your long-term performance plan for the next three to six months.
Expect one private session a week, about an hour, by video call on Zoom or Google Meet. Between sessions, your coach gives you practice built around situations you're already facing, so it fits inside your normal week. Keeping up with that practice is also what the guarantee is based on.
Paddy's team goes through the investment on your call, once they understand your situation and whether the intensive is a fit. That way you get the full picture in one conversation, based on your answers. The call itself is free and commits you to nothing. If someone else, such as your organization, would sign off on it, mention that in your application.
You complete the Pressure Profile before the intensive starts and again when it ends, using the same measures both times. It scores how pressure affects the way you feel, focus, decide and execute. That gives you a documented before-and-after score to judge the six weeks by. It's also the measure the guarantee is tied to.
If you complete the practice your coach sets by the agreed dates and don't see an upward shift on any measure of your Pressure Profile, your coach keeps working with you at no additional cost until you do. The comparison is your Profile score before the intensive against your score at the end. The main condition is keeping up with that practice on schedule. Full conditions are in The Measurable Improvement Guarantee terms, linked at the bottom of this page.
Possibly nothing new, and that's fine, because the work focuses on what you already do at your best and makes it more repeatable. Experience doesn't protect anyone from pressure: across every penalty shootout in World Cup, European Championship and Champions League history, the most decorated players scored 24 percentage points less often than equally talented teammates who hadn't yet gained public recognition. The intensive looks at where your own response becomes less reliable when the stakes are highest.
No. The coaching focuses on your recent high-stakes moments and what you're walking into next, with practical tools for each stage of your response. Nobody asks about your childhood. The intensive is performance coaching: Paddy and his team aren't licensed psychologists, and it isn't a substitute for care from a qualified clinician.
For many people, they're enough. What they can't do is see how pressure shows up in you, tell which stage is doing the damage, or check whether you practiced when your week got busy. The coaching adds someone trained to spot your patterns, match each one to a technique, and keep you accountable from week to week. On your own, that process tends to be trial and error, which can take months.
Your final session, the Omakase Long-Term Performance Plan, builds a plan for the next three to six months around your role and your upcoming situations. Depending on your needs, it can include an attention-training program, an accountability partner with practical scripts, and a review of your routine. You also keep the Continued Practice Resource Vault: four quick-reference cards, attention-training audio in three formats, short animated explainers, and further exercises for longer-term challenges.
Use the button on this page to start your application, which takes about ten minutes. When you submit it, you'll choose a time for your call straight away. Before the call, you'll complete your Pressure Profile so Paddy's team can prepare. On the call, you'll talk through your situation and whether the intensive is the right fit.
